Fresh Foods For Families  is a program that promotes healthy eating for all members of a family by providing a unique opportunity to observe a local Natural Chef demonstrate how to prepare family friendly whole foods, coupled with a commentary on the nutritional elements by a Nutrition expert.

Our goal is to spread the knowledge and skills to provide healthy food which is not only important, but is within the reach of everyone. Our recipies use only whole foods.

The program is typically 1 hour and features numerous, easy to prepare dishes that the entire family will love.  The Chef and Nutrition expert share important and little known cooking and food preparation information, nutrition basics for all ages, tips to get fussy eaters to enjoy their meals, and a discussion about how to develop healthy eating habits. An opportunity to ask questions of the Chef and Nutrition expert follows.

Guests are able to taste the dishes and take home samples.

No kitchen is required – our Chef brings some prepared dishes and demonstrates others. A table and electric outlets are all that is needed.

Each guest receives a copy of recipes from Genevieve’s Helping Hands cookbook and nutrition handouts.

The program has been well received . It is intergenerational and can be presented in a variety of settings including schools, churches,  hospitals, community centers, etc.
